Consul General Andreas Launer met with the Governor of Utah, Gary Herbert, at the State Capital in Salt Lake City on January 22, 2020. They discussed Utah’s perspective on international relations and the potential for intensified cooperation between Austria and the “Beehive State” in different areas.
During his first official visit to Utah the Consul General was accompanied by Franz Kolb, the long-serving Austrian Honorary Consul in Salt Lake City. The visiting program also included meetings with business representatives and members of the Utah Consular Corps.
