On February 26, 2020, Ambassador Martin Weiss welcomed a delegation of 18 students from the Vienna-based Academic Forum for Foreign Affairs to the Embassy.
The group, on a study trip in the United States, was briefed by the Ambassador and Embassy staff on the bilateral relationship between Austria and the U.S., as well as on the latest developments in the Presidential campaigns.
The Academic Forum for Foreign Affairs is a non-partisan organization for all students with an interest in foreign affairs. In addition, the Forum also functions a youth connection to the United Nations. It has a world-wide membership of some 33,000.
