Ambassador Waldner Speaks at The George Washington University

On March 20, 2018, Ambassador Wolfgang Waldner gave a lecture on the transatlantic relationship and its challenges at the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University (GW) in Washington, DC. Upon invitation by Assistant Professor Dr. Sanjay Patnaik from GW's School of Business, Austria’s leading diplomat in the U.S also provided an outlook for the upcoming Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in his talk to students and faculty.

Before the lecture, Ambassador Waldner received a warm welcome from Ambassador Reuben E. Brigety, Dean of the Elliott School of International Affairs, who presented him with a pin of the flag of The George Washington University.
