WKO-Vice President Jürgen Roth led the visit to the HQ of well-known and successful companies such as AirBnB Inc. and Google. The program was a healthy mix of different activities keeping the members of the group on their feet.

Presentations about the new Startup Focus program at the SAP Innovation center, the introduction of the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology at the University of Berkeley or a lecture by the CEO of the Silicon Valley-based Austrian company STATODESK created a deeper insight of what it takes to professionally craft ideas into real business.

Attendees also participated in the “Executives In Residence” interactive pitching session in the Plug and Play Tech Center.

During dinners and lunches, participants were offered multiple networking opportunities  with representatives of the venture capital scene, a law group and partners of Tech Lab, the Stanford’s startup accelerator program ‘StartX’ and different start-ups. For the participants, the program was truly a memorable ‘trip to the future’, presenting them with the tools  for the fulfillment of their entrepreneurial ideas.
