Summer presents the unique opportunity to experience imperial Vienna without crossing the Atlantic. From June 14 to September 13, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston will show masterpieces from Vienna’s Imperial Collections at the Kunsthistorisches Museum. The exhibition tells the fascinating story of the Habsburg Dynasty, which ruled most of central Europe, Spain, Belgium, and parts of Italy for nearly six hundred years, from the fifteenth through the twentieth centuries.
