Consul General Boeck Welcomes New Austrian Citizens

On December 11, 2020, Consul General Helmut Boeck handed official citizenship decrees to two new Austrian citizens. Sophie Gonick and Daniel Salem are the first two New Yorkers who received their Austrian citizenships according to the new amendment to the Austrian Citizenship Act for descendants of victims of the National Socialist regime, which entered into force on September 1, 2020.
