California Politicians Visit "Schindler House" in Los Angeles

At the invitation of the Austrian Consul General Andreas Launer, California State Senator Ben Allen, Chair of the State Senate and State Assembly Joint Committee on Arts, as well as the Mayor of West Hollywood, John Duran, paid a visit to the "Schindler House” on July 19, 2018.

The West Hollywood landmark building, designed by Viennese émigré Rudolph M. Schindler (1887-1953), is the headquarter of the MAK Center, the California satellite of the MAK – Austrian Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna.

Priscilla Fraser, Director of the MAK Center, and Anthony Carfello, the Deputy Director gave the guests a tour through the house that offers a year-round schedule of exciting exhibitions and events.
