The United States Secretary of Energy Rick Perry hosted the European Union and members of the Three Seas Initiative for a meeting at the Department of Energy in Washington, DC.
As part of day one of World Gas Week, energy leaders discussed ways the industry can promote energy security while highlighting the ongoing importance of Transatlantic cooperation. The Republic of Austria was represented by Ambassador Wolfgang Waldner.
The Three Seas Initiative, also known as the Baltic, Adriatic, Black Sea Initiative, is a forum of European Union countries in Central and Eastern Europe aiming to create dialogue on questions affecting the member states.
