The University of New Orleans International Summer School in Innsbruck, Austria celebrated 40 years in the Alpine city during its grand opening on June 28, 2015. The U.S. Ambassador to Austria, Alexa Wesner, joined dignitaries from Innsbruck and New Orleans.
Habsburg Splendor Opened in Houston, TX
170 guests joined the opening ceremony of Habsburg Splendor at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts (MFAH). The director of Vienna’s Kunsthistorisches Museum (KHM) Sabine Haag attended the opening alongside MFAH director Gary Tinterow and a “21st century Habsburg”, Maria-Anna Galitzine, who happens to call Houston her home.

He has performed at the Shuvalov Palace in St. Petersburg; in Klin, at Tchaikovsky’s House; in Iskra, at the New Jerusalem Monastery; in Warsaw, at the Museum of Jan Paderewski; and in Kyiv, Ukraine, at the National Philharmonic Hall to raise funds for local orphanages.
