Stanford University: Lecture on Innovation and Entrepreneurship - Challenges for Europe and Austria in the 21st Century

On January 29, 2014, the President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Dr. Christoph Leitl, held a discussion at Stanford University focusing on the prevailing innovations and entrepreneurial opportunities and challenges in Austria and how they relate to the greater  European Union. The event was organized by the Stanford University US-Asia Technology Management Center together with the European Innovation and Entrepreneurship @Stanford.

About the Speaker

Christoph Leitl has served as the President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber since 2000. In this position, he oversees the nine State Chambers (one in each of Austria's federal states or Bundesland) and 110 trade associations for different industries. In May 2013, President Leitl became an Honorary Member of SME Europe, the business organization for the European People's Party.
