At the invitation of the Washington International Business Council, Ambassador Wolfgang Waldner met with a group of executives from leading international corporations to speak about Austria's plans and priorities during its Presidency of the Council of the European Union on September 6, 2018. 

His talk was followed by a Q&A with Council members about the current state of the transatlantic relations and the most important issues facing the European Union at the moment, among them Great Britain’s exit from the bloc.
