Representatives of several Austrian companies visited the Washington, DC area between June 20 - 22, 2018 to attend the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2018 at National Harbor, MD.

SelectUSA is a U.S. government-wide program led by the U.S. Department of Commerce aimed at facilitating job-creating business investment in the United States. The Austrian participants were invited by the U.S. Embassy in Vienna and this year included representatives from austriamicrosystems AG, EONOS GmbH, Hinterberger Automotive Safety North America, Inc., MIBA AG, RSB, and PCB GmbH.

Besides attending the conference, hosted by the Gaylord Conference Center, the Austrian participants also met with Austrian Ambassador Wolfgang Waldner.
