On July 17th, 2018, Ambassador Waldner spoke at the B’nai B’rith Diplomatic Encounter Series about the Austrian EU Presidency priorities, including the many challenges presently facing the EU.

In addition, ample time was devoted to the past, present and future of Austria’s deeply rooted Jewish Community, as well as to the friendly bilateral relations with the State of Israel. The Q&A furthermore touched upon global issues like migration or development and on regional topics relating to Iran, Hezbollah, Jerusalem, as well as the Middle East Peace Process in general.
