On the occasion of his first official visit to the State of Alaska, Consul General Andreas Launer, accompanied by Austrian Honorary Consul Wally Hickel Jr., met Governor Bill Walker on June 6, 2018 at his office in Anchorage.

They discussed the State of Alaska's international relations and the potential of intensified economic cooperation between Austria and Alaska, particularly in the area of tourism.
