From 22-25 October 2018, the two Chairmen of the Executive Board of the Austrian Financial Market Authority, Helmut Ettl and Klaus Kumpfmüller visited Washington, DC for four days of meetings with representatives of regulatory authorities, the U.S. Treasury as well as the International Monetary Fund. They discussed current developments on the financial market including cybersecurity, measures to prevent money laundering, the Fintech-regulations and the U.S. Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act.
