“The Vienna Project” is an open memorial project which aims at remembering the victims of National Socialism in Austria. Its founder, Dr. Karen Frostig, started the project after inheriting letters of her grandparents who have perished in the Holocaust.

Today the archive of “The Vienna Project” consists of various sorts of art with a strong focus on letters. As the project is coming to its end, the organizers are planning a final ceremony on October 18 in the Austrian National Library where some of the letters will be read to the audience.
